Please pray!

Dear Prayer Partners,

 

Our daughter, JoAnna and her husband Beau are expecting a baby boy to arrive around the 23rd of January.  She has just been told by the doctor that she may have Preeclampsia and that would require them to take the baby right away which would be 3 months pre-mature. Please pray that the LORD touch her and get everything back to normal.

 

We have had a great start to our time in Australia with the LORD being very gracious as we ministered to iHeart Church, Open House Christian Church and Indonesian Praise Centre. The prophetic seemed to flow well, confirming many things and callings in the churches.  The preached word, particularly in Open House, seemed to be very timely.  WE also had a meeting with the leaders at City Wide Church which was not on the schedule but we enjoy being instant in season or out of season.

 

During the weekdays Monette has been helping with Juanita and the grandchildren as Juanita recovers from the Caesarean section birth of Caleb their third child and first son. I (John) have helped a bit but Monette has worked hard trying to do all that needs to be done in taking care of the family and running to doctors' appointments etc.  She has done well but it has left her exhausted most days so please pray that she is energized and anointed as we head north.

 

We are leaving tomorrow for Queensland where we will be busy for the next 17 days.  Please prayer for safe travels and the upcoming ministry.  The schedule is below. 

 

Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer and support.  It is difficult to describe how important you are, needless to say we would not be able to do what we do without the prayer. I pray the LORD pour out His love and favor on you all.

at it again

Dear Prayer Partners,

 

G'day.  We are about to get back on the road after several weeks trying to get things caught up at home.  We experienced some rather large unexpected expenses so prayer for finances is greatly appreciated.

 

We are leaving for the Northwest of the U.S. on Thursday and then on to Australia a week later.  Please prayer for safe travels and the upcoming ministry.  The schedule is below.

More prayer requests and updates

Dear Prayer Partners,

 

We had a great time in Seattle, Calgary, and Wendover.  We are now in Aurora, Colorado.  We are staying just blocks from the theatre where all the horror took place last Friday morning (we arrived Friday evening).  It certainly affected the services yesterday at church but we understand that the LORD is still in control. (Rom 8:28) Please pray for the city of Aurora as they recover from these deaths and so many who were wounded. Also pray for the church as they minister to the community and especially for souls to come to Christ, who is the only answer.

 

We received a call from our daughter Amanda on Saturday and Chuck, our son-in law,'s step mother's son was in the hospital here Denver in a comma.  Pastor Ken Urban joined us as we went to the hospital and prayed for 26 year old Michael Portman and ask that you would join us in continuing to pray for healing.  He was not breathing when brought to the hospital and there are many questions about recovery so PLEASE PRAY!

 

The good news is that Edward, our grandson who had open heart surgery at 7 weeks is home and doing well.  He was sent home in half the time they expected so we so appreciate your prayers and thank God for His answer. 

 

We are taking a break to get refreshed and then we will be back on deck in Los Angeles.
