MRI results

Dear Prayer Partners,

 

I had the MRI results today and it turned out that I had an acute stroke but it showed it was working itself back to health and that there was nothing else to be seen in the scan so in some ways that was good news.  We will not be leaving Australia on Sunday at this state which means we will miss one of our appointmenst but we will be working with the church to work it out.  I want to thank everyone for their prayers.  We trust that you will continue to pray as we slow down a bit but continue to fulfill the call.

Just a quick prayer request.  John had a bit of a dizzy spell yesterday afternoon so they are not letting him leave tomorrow.  He is to have an MRI probably tomorrow and will be evaluated after that so please keep praying.

Dad has been back into Ministry today after having a number of tests yesterday including a CAT scan, an Ultrasound and some other lab tests. The CAT scan indicated that something had happened but there has been no lasting damage or effects. The doctors don't believe there is anything else wrong but are doing a few more tests in the coming days.

The GP doctor will be receiving the test results and at this stage Dad and Monette are set to fly to Los Angeles Monday.

Please keep praying that all the test results are favorable and reflect God's healing power in his body.

 

Please continue to pray for:

1) Traveling Mercies.

2) The upcoming meetings.

3) Finances, we are still recovering from the robbery last March.

4) Health, Strength and Energy; Please keep praying for John

5) Family and friends as we see so many in need at this time.

6) His wisdom in plan for the future

7) That the LORD grants us His Favor

Prayer Point

Hello Everyone,

I am writing on behalf of Dad (John). Yesterday he had what is known as a TIA or sometimes called mini-stroke. Thankfully it did not last long and he is feeling OK. TIA's typically don't have any lasting effects but he is currently meeting the doctors to have some additional checks. 

Please pray for physical healing and rejuvenation and that he gets the all clear doctors as he and Monette are due to travel on Monday to the US.

At It Again

It has been a good time at home, seeing family and friends and welcoming our newest grandchild, Milly Annelise Self, she was born July 6, an answer to prayer for me as she wasn't due until the 27^th of July and that is when we are to be flying to Malaysia. GOD answered my prayer that she would come about 3 weeks early so we could see her!  My mom has flown in from Memphis, Tennessee to see her newest great grandchild.  Mom is doing well also, thank you all for the prayers for her, she seems to be doing better health wise than we have seen her in years.

We are off to Malaysia in a couple of days and then down to Australia for a very busy schedule as you can see.  We certainly need much pray as we depend on the Holy Spirit to move, bless and encourage.  I often look at prophesying as walking on the narrow edge of disaster for if you stray one way or the other, away from what the LORD is saying you become worthless to the Body of Christ. It is our prayer that this never happens and that we keep "tuned in" to what the LORD is saying, so please pray.

As we said in one of our last Prayer Partners email, one of my main concerns is the plan the LORD has to raise up those who will take on what we have started.  (Acts 1:1) Even though Jesus said "It is finished", Luke writes that which "Jesus began to do and teach".  We to feel that we have only began and are looking forward to see how this part of His work goes forward. So please continue to pray that the LORD will show us His plan and His Timing.
