Update and prayer requests

Hey & Hello,

 

We have been reflecting on this trip so far and it has been so wonderful yet so very busy.  It was great to catch up with Paul and Joyce Wuthier in Denver.  They are so precious and have been a great blessing over the years. A while back they turned the church over to their son-in-law and daughter, Ken and Amy.  The church (Living Waters) in Aurora is going forward and even though we did not minister this time there the church blessed us with accommodation for the night.  What a blessing.  From there we flew to Seattle and spent a night with our son Aaron and family before driving to Kelowna, BC where we caught up with Ben and Jennifer Gumienny and met new friends at the Bridge Community Church where we ministered. It was good to get acquainted with Pastor Mark Gordon.  We felt the LORD was challenging the church to rise up into new areas. The following Sunday we were back in Lacey, WA ministering in CLC with Steve and Jane Bradley where we encouraged the church and individuals to look at the prophecies that have been given in light of the teaching we gave, as well as spending time with Aaron Carla and the kids. 

 

Next it was Stirling, Scotland with the Edwards.  While there we were able to encourage a church by Glasgow and met Pastor Andy & Helen.  Next it was Edinburgh with Glenn and Terri-Ann Rogers where we had a great time in the Hope Church in Musselburgh.  Many of you would have received the prayer request for Joshua their son who just started chemo for Hodgkins Lymphoma (cancer), please continue to prayer for a complete recovery.

 

Next on the agenda was Singapore where we had a wonderful time with Asian Gateway Church in what was to us their new premises.  Victor and Florence Seow were wonderful to us and the church is so committed to being and making disciples. We started at Glad Tidings Church Singapore the following Tuesday with leaders and those involved in the prophetic and then a meeting on Wednesday with church before going to Klang, Malaysia for a fantastic time at camp with them where the challenge of a deeper and more intimate relationship with Christ was the theme in order to be and make disciples.  The Camp finished with many being encouraged by a prophetic word.

 

So far in Malaysia we have had eight nights of presbytery meetings as well as ministering on Sunday for New Life Restoration Church.  What a fantastic time it was and to catch up with all our friends there.  We caught up Jeremiah Yap, the founder of the New Life Restoration movement as well as Pastor Ron & Grace Hee and the rest of the team.  Needless to say, there were a lot of prophetic words that we pray encouraged the people and hopefully brought a renewed sense of destiny. We had the privilege of giving input to the many departments of the church and hope that the words will take them forward in this "Year of God's Favor and Fruitfulness.

 

Over this last weekend, we ministered for Christopher and June Lim at Light of Christ Church where their desire to press into the presence of God was very passionate.  We were at Full Gospel Tabernacle with our very close friends since 1982 pastor Eu Hong Seng and Gik Sim. It is always so good to see them and the team; their heart is to train men and women to follow the call of GOD in their lives and to plant churches around the world.   Sunday afternoon we were at Kingdom City Church Jai and the Team took care of us for Pastor Mark and Jemima Varughese who were in Australia.  The enthusiasm of the church is intense and refreshing.  It was interesting to note in FGT, Kingdom City and New Life Restoration, the churches' young people have a new sense of commitment to the LORD and to serving Him.

 

Last night we had Dinner at FGT and were together with some old friends from New Zealand, Neal and Ruth Patterson and Kevin and Joy Dyson (now living in Australia) along with part of the team from the church.  There was a lot of talk about our times together as well as reflecting on the current world and Kingdom of God situation.  Thanks Hong Seng and the Team for getting us together.

 

This has been a rather long email but we thought it would be good to catch everyone up.  We are just over half way through our time here and we need your prayers to keep us going.  We really need the strength to keep up the schedule and to hear the Words of the Lord for His people. During our time here the Lord has given us provision in every way.  We are so thankful to Him and You for faithfulness and support.  Below is the schedule for next phase although there are other dates awaiting confirmation and please keep Joshua Rogers in your prayers.

3)      Finances (air fares have drastically increased)

4)      Health, Strength and Energy (refreshing)

5)      Family and friends as we see so many in need at this time.

6)      Wisdom in planning for the future

7)     That the LORD gives us His Favor
